Dr. Z is first and foremost a teacher. He has had the privilege of teaching at all levels from first through twelfth grade in public, private and prison schools as well as at several universities. As an associate professor in the Instructional Technology program at the University of Northern Iowa, Dr. Zeitz engages practicing and future teachers in supporting active learning through technology. Dr. Z’s exploration into Rube Goldberg-oriented problem based learning is one of many forays into making learning meaningful through application.
